Contracts and Grants Accounting supports UCSF research and education by providing collaborative and advisory post-award management and financial oversight of sponsored research. 

What we do

Our goal in Contracts and Grants Accounting (CGA) is to support UCSF research and education by providing collaborative and advisory post-award management and financial oversight of sponsored research. We work collaboratively with Principal Investigators, research administrators, the Office of Sponsored Research, other University units, and sponsors to manage award set-up, billing, collections, financial reporting, after the fact verification of payroll, and closeout of sponsored research contracts and grants. 

CGA monitors compliance with applicable federal, state, local, or other sponsor regulations and requirements as well as University policies.
