MyReports Update: Changes for Phase 1 of Project One

MyReports Update: Changes for Phase 1 of Project One

Get familiar with MyReports updates for Project One Phase 1, including Health report changes and unchanged Campus reporting.

As Phase 1 of Project One goes live this month, we would like to provide a clear overview of what is changing and what will remain the same within the MyReports application.

Campus Users: No Changes

There are no changes to Campus reporting as part of Phase 1. All Campus reports will continue to source data from PeopleSoft General Ledger and UCPath using the Current Chart of Accounts (PeopleSoft). There will be no changes to report content, structure, or user access. Updates related to Campus reporting will be communicated as part of Phase 2, which is planned for next year.

Health Users: Overview of Changes

All Phase 1 changes described below apply only to reports within the following reporting tabs in MyReports:

  • Labor Productivity tab
  • Monthly Variance tab
  • Health Financial tab

Labor Productivity tab

Our Labor Productivity reports will no longer be updated after April, but will remain accessible for historical reporting. The Pay Period ending March 28, 2026, will be the final pay period processed for these reports in MyReports:

  • Labor Productivity Summary Report
  • Labor Productivity Trend Report
  • Labor Productivity by Dept ID Report
  • Labor Productivity by Job Code Report

Going forward, Labor Productivity reporting will be available in Tableau, managed by the Health Finance team. Review the Health Finance Manager Reporting Portal to access Labor Productivity reporting in Tableau or review additional training materials on the Health Finance website.

The remaining reports within the Labor Productivity tab will still be available in MyReports after Phase 1; however, they will continue to use the Current Chart of Accounts (PeopleSoft) and will not transition to the New Chart of Accounts (Oracle):

  • Distribution of Payroll Expense (DPE) by Alt Account Report will continue to be available using the Current COA (PeopleSoft). As UCPath is not changing until Phase 2, there will be no version of this report based on the New COA (Oracle) for Phase 1.
  • Employee and Position Distribution Report and Employee and Position Roster Report will remain available and will continue to reflect employee funding based on the Current COA.

Monthly Variance tab

Our Monthly Variance reports will no longer be updated after April but will remain accessible for historical reporting. The March 2026 accounting period will be the final accounting period processed for these reports:

  • Monthly Variance Summary Report
  • Monthly Variance by Alt Account Report
  • Monthly Variance Trend Report
  • Monthly Variance by Dept ID Report

In the future, Monthly Variance reporting will be available in Oracle EPM. Information about Oracle EPM can be found on the UCSF Project One website (UCSF authentication required). For questions about using or accessing these reports, contact the Health Finance team (UCSF authentication required) to open a support ticket.

The remaining reports within the Monthly Variance tab will still be available in MyReports after Phase 1; however, they will continue to use only the Current Chart of Accounts (PeopleSoft) and will not transition to the New Chart of Accounts (Oracle).

  • Alt Account Detail Report will continue to report directly from PeopleSoft General Ledger using the Current COA.
  • McKesson AP Detail Report will continue to reflect data from McKesson purchasing systems. McKesson purchasing is scheduled to be phased out as part of Phase 1, but this report will remain available to process any additional data received from their system.

Health Financial tab

All reports within this tab will remain available and will continue using the Current COA (PeopleSoft), including:

  • Alt Account Detail Report
  • Balance Sheet Report – UCSF Health
  • Income Statement Report
  • Income Statement Variance Report
  • Key Operating Trends

MyReports will not provide General Ledger reporting based on the New COA (Oracle) as part of Phase 1. All Oracle-based financial reporting will be accessed through Oracle ERP. Information about accessing and using Oracle GL Reporting can be found on the UCSF Project One website (UCSF authentication required). For questions about using or accessing Oracle GL reports, contact the Health Finance team (UCSF authentication required) to open a support ticket.
