Prior Period Leave Redistribution Guidance (opens in new window)
In case you missed it: on May 10, Salary Cost Transfer Initiators and Approvers were emailed guidance to help identify leave transactions that require correction after the resolution of several defects.

To help plan for fiscal year-end, finance administrators should note these upcoming UCPath activities. Look for further information to prepare for key payroll processing deadlines in the June edition of the Controller's Office Newsletter.

UCPath Defect Update: Funding Entry Inquiry Not Displaying Correct Compensation Data Snapshot
At the end of April, the UCPath Center resolved an intermittent UCPath defect impacting the total compensation displayed within the Funding Entry Inquiry page.

Understanding Prior Period Leave Redistribution for Monthly Paid Employees
This new how-to guide on the Controller’s Office website provides department finance administrators with an overview of the UCPath Prior Period Leave Redistribution process.

- Status: UCSF IT applied a same-day fix, and impacted users were able to continue with their transactions.
Inconsistency in chartstring validation results (opens in new window)
- Status: New chartstring validation rules will be moved into production the evening of May 11
Funding Entry Inquiry page is not displaying correct compensation data snapshot (opens in new window)
- Status: Resolved in April

Defect fixes scheduled for release

VAC for HSCP Faculty incorrectly distributed to default funding (opens in new window)
- Target release: Mass Leave Correction planned for June
- Status: Partially resolved – a detailed update was emailed to all users on May 10
