Security Awareness Training for Point of Service Collections Staff is UCSF's security awareness training program designed to comply with PCI DSS requirements. This training is required annually for employees with access to credit card data and replaces the previously required “Credit Card Handler” training provided by the Controller’s Office.
Employees who are required to take this annual training will receive notifications from the UC Learning Center beginning 30 days prior to their personal training deadline. The notification includes a link to the course and the required training completion date. To ensure proper recording in the UC Learning Management System, employees should only use the link provided in the notification to access and complete the training course. The PCI Work Group will coordinate with supervisors of employees who do not access computers regularly during their workday to ensure this training will be completed.
