Effort Reporting Certifications Due by October 28

Effort reporting for the January 1 to June 30, 2017 period is due by October 28, 2017.  If you have not yet certified, please complete the certification process as soon as possible to ensure that UCSF meets the required 100% certification rate.

Per current UCSF Campus Administrative Policy 300-20, all personnel paid from, or with effort committed to, a federally sponsored project (including federal flow-through subcontracts that the campus receives as a second-tier contractor of a federal agency) are required to review, correct, complete, and certify effort reports semiannually. Exceptions are pre- and postdoctoral individuals supported 100% by a fellowship (stipend) with no additional employment compensation, and college Work Study employees.  For more information on the effort reporting process, visit the Effort Reporting System page on the Controller's Office website.

The Effort Reporting System is accessed through MyAccess. If you have login or other technical issues, contact the IT Help Desk at 415-514-4100, option 2. If you have questions or concerns about the effort reporting process, the effort reporting follow-up process, or if you are uncertain about how to proceed or obtain recertification, contact Contracts & Grants Compliance.
