Early Timekeeping Deadlines during Cutover to UCPath

Project cutover activities are underway to prepare for the transition from our legacy source systems to UCPath on June 1. Some activities necessitate temporary system outages, pauses to some business processes, and early processing deadlines.

During the months of April and May, early timekeeping submission and approval deadlines in HBS are required in order to meet UCPath conversion deadlines. In addition, HBS will be unavailable during conversion activities from May 28 through May 31. Consult the following key deadlines for monthly and biweekly timekeeping between now and June 1.

Monthly Employee Timekeeping Deadlines

HBS will close and post accruals for May 1 on April 27, before the conversion of monthly employees from PPS to UCPath. Due to the conversion schedule, HBS timesheet information for the April 1 to April 30 monthly period must be processed in time for the April 27 deadline.

April 27 - June 1 History timesheets for any monthly pay period will not be processed
May 28 - 31 HBS will be unavailable during conversion
June 1 HBS will reopen for timesheet and webclock entry

There will be no change to the timesheet submission and approval schedule for the May 1 to May 31 monthly period, other than the HBS conversion outage from May 28 through May 31.

Biweekly Employee Timekeeping Deadlines

Biweekly employees are encouraged to review and submit timesheets for the pay period ending May 30 by May 27, prior to the HBS conversion outage. HBS will be available on June 1 to make final changes to timesheets. Timesheet approvers must approve timesheets for biweekly employees by midnight on June 1.

HBS Leave Request Submissions and Approvals

Except during the HBS system outage from May 28 through May 31, employees can continue to submit leave requests and supervisors can continue to approve leave requests during cutover to UCPath.
