Introducing the Controller’s Office Accounts Receivable and Banking Services Team

The Controller’s Office is combining the Student Accounting, Cash and Controls, UCSF Merchant Services, and Department Accounts Receivable functions into a new Accounts Receivable and Banking Services team (opens in new window). Previously, similar services in cashiering, billing, and student accounting were spread across the Accounting and Reporting unit and the Contracts and Grants Accounting unit. The Accounts Receivable and Banking Services team is part of our Accounting and Reporting unit and will be led by Director Alma Martinez who joined the Controller’s Office in February.

We are making this change to the team structure to improve our customers’ experiences, align with higher education best practices, and optimize our business functions. While we have reorganized internally, you will continue to be supported by the same team members in the areas of cash handling, credit card merchant services, student accounting, and stipend payment processing. If you have questions, please contact Nick Freyaldenhoven, Assistant Controller, Accounting and Reporting.
