Shift Differential Modifications in HBS for CNA Time On-Call

This job aid explains modifications made to HBS to comply with the arbitration agreement between the University of California (UC) and the California Nurses Association (CNA). Under the agreement, nurses (NX employees), who are scheduled to be on-call (TOC) and are called into work (CBW) during a shift, are to be paid 1.5 times the regular rate of pay for time worked and shift differential if worked during evening or night shift.
