Approve your timecard before payroll processing. Typically, after you approve your timecard, your manager also approves it. You can approve the entire timeframe or part of the timeframe. If you approve the entire timeframe, the Approve option is unavailable. The way that approval is displayed in your timecard differs depending on whether you are using Table View or List View.

How to Approve Your Timecard Using Table View
- Navigate to the Main Menu.
- Expand the My Information section, and then select My Timecard.
- From the toolbar, select Table View.
- From Select Timeframe, select the applicable timeframe to approve.
- Review the timecard and correct any exceptions as needed. Note: Exceptions need to be approved by your manager for the Approve option to be activated.
- From the Toolbar, select Approve. An information message appears at the top of the timecard grid.





How to Remove Your Timecard Approval Using Table View
Depending on your access rights, you may not be able to remove approval after your manager has approved the timecard.
- Navigate from the Main Menu.
- Expand the My Information section, and then select My Timecard.
- From the toolbar, select Table View.
- From Select Timeframe, select the applicable timeframe to approve.
- From the Toolbar, select Remove Approval. An information message appears at the top of the timecard grid.





Table View Visual Indicators
When using Table View, the background color of the timecard changes depending on who has approved it.
- Timecard approved by employee, but not by manager.
- Timecard approved by manager but not by employee.
- Timecard approved by both employee and manager.
- Timecard has been signed off.
