How to Cancel a Time Off Request

When requested time off is no longer needed or needs to be rescheduled, employees can cancel those time-off requests. Employees submit cancellation requests to nullify the previously submitted or approved time off. 

These instructions include how to: 

  • Cancel time-off requests from the Main Menu 
  • Cancel time-off requests from My Notifications 

How to Cancel a Time-off Request from the Main Menu

  1. Navigate to the Main Menu from the Home Page.
  2.    From the Main Menu, select My Information.
  3. From My Information, select  My Calendar.
















     
  4. From My Calendar, use the monthly and daily views to locate the time-off request to be canceled.
  5. From the daily view, select the Submitted Time-off request.

















     
  6. In the panel that opens on the right, select Cancel request

 Note: The cancellation is immediate; you are not prompted to confirm. Submitted requests become [Cancelled]. Approved requests become [Cancel Submitted]. 

How to Cancel a Time-off Request from My Notifications

  1. From the Home page, go to the My Notifications tile and select My Requests.

















     
  2. If needed, use the filter option to refine the type of request you want to cancel.
  3. Select the request to cancel.
  4. Select Cancel.














     
  5. In the panel that opens on the right, enter comments and notes as appropriate.
  6. Select Cancel Request. Note: The cancellation is immediate; you are not prompted to confirm. However, a confirmation message appears at the top of the panel on the right.












     
  7. Select Done.
  8. Submitted requests become Cancelled. Approved requests become Cancel Submitted.
