How to Switch Roles in MyTime

Users who have been granted access to MyTime as a delegate or assigned a department administrator support role need to switch from their primary role as an employee or manager to these roles. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to switch roles in MyTime.

Access Roles from the Main Menu

  1. Navigate to the Main Menu.

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Expand the Employee Settings Menu.

Switch Roles from the Employee Settings Menu

MyTime displays the roles to which access is currently granted:

  • Initial Role (your primary role as an employee or manager)
  • Timekeeper, Scheduler, or View Only roles (if assigned)
  • Delegated Roles (listed by delegator’s name and delegation timeframe)

Note: Upon accepting a delegation request, you must log out and log back into MyTime before the delegated role is available for selection.

To switch from your initial role to another role:

  1. If needed, use the scroll bar to access all assigned roles.
  2. Click or tap a role to switch to it.

MyTime will refresh. The Home page and tiles will display as appropriate for the selected role.
