The Research Administration System
The Research Administration System (RAS) is our system of record for post-award contracts and grants financial transactions used by campus/UCSF Health Research Services Analysts (RSAs) and the Contracts & Grants Accounting (CGA) unit of the Controller's Office throughout the award lifecycle. RAS is a module of the PeopleSoft financial system.
RAS transactions include:
- Expense Processing
- Revenue Recognition
Only Access Administrators may request access to PeopleSoft. RSA’s requiring access should contact their manager or Department Access Administrator. To find your Department Access Administrator(s), use the Dept ID look-up in the Inquiry Reports. Access Administrators can request, change, and revoke RAS access using the Access Management System available in MyAccess.
Once you have been granted RAS access, log into RAS via MyAccess.
