The Award Verification Tool is now live!
Today's release transitions UCSF to the new award verification procedure that replaces effort reporting. Principal Investigators (PIs) are now required to complete verification at least quarterly for all sponsored awards where they are designated as the award owner. PIs, Program Managers and Research Services Analysts (RSAs) should now begin using the Award Verification Tool.
When are Verifications Due?
The deadline for awards identified as due this month is 10 p.m. (Pacific Time) on May 11.
Each month, the Award Verification Tool will indicate which sponsored awards are due for verification. The following awards are currently flagged as due this month:
- All active sponsored awards except awards that started in February or March 2021
- Sponsored awards that have ended and had expense activity since the last effort reporting certification period (January 1 – May 2, 2020)
Access the Award Verification Tool
- Go to MyAccess and click the Award Verification Tool link.
- When connecting to the Award Verification Tool from outside the UCSF network, you must first connect to UCSF’s Pulse Secure VPN.
