Accessing 2021 W-2 Statements

All employees can now access their 2021 W-2 in UCPath online.

  • Employees who requested an electronic version of their W-2 received an email notifying them of the online availability.
  • Employees who did not select an electronic version may still access their W-2 in UCPath online and will also be mailed a printed W-2 no later than January 31, 2022.

To access your W-2, log into UCPath using MyAccess and click on Employee Actions > Income and Taxes > View Online W-2/W-2C. Training materials for reviewing your online W-2 and understanding your W-2 are available on UCPath's help site (MyAccess login required).

Former employees have access to view or download their UCPath W-2 statements for up to three years after their separation date. More information about UCPath online for former employees is available on the UCnet website.

For all employees receiving a Form 1095-C, Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage, forms will be mailed no later than January 31 to the address contained in the UCPath system as of January 10. Form 1095-C is not available electronically.

 

Important security reminder

The University of California does not send W-2 statements by email or text. If you receive an email or text with a link or an attachment to view a W-2, it is a phishing scam designed to gain your private information. Do not open attachments or click email links that claim to provide access to your W-2.
