Release notes are listed below for enhancements and configuration changes to MyTime following the May 2025 implementation.
MyTime moves to 24-hour clock display
Module: All
Audience: All Employees, Managers, Timekeepers and Schedulers
Change: Beginning Friday, September 5, the display of time entries will change from a 12-hour clock to a 24-hour clock (also known as military time). This is a systemwide change that affects all screens that display times for all users.
MyTime currently displays times, including schedule shift start and end times and punch in and out times, using a 12-hour clock display divided into a.m. and p.m. segments.
The display change in MyTime aims to minimize time entry mistakes. Users of most of our legacy systems, including HBS, Clairvia, and StaffReady, are already familiar with viewing time using a 24-hour clock.
It’s important to note that this is a change only to the display of time in MyTime. Users can continue to enter time on timecards and schedules using either the 12-hour or 24-hour format. The system will convert time entered to the 24-hour clock format.
Timecard screen defaults to current pay period
Module: Timekeeping
Audience: Managers and Timekeepers
Change: When navigating to an employee timecard after using the Search feature in MyTime, the default timeframe display will change form "Today" to “Current Pay Period”. You can continue to set the timeframe to other pre-defined or custom timeframes as needed.
Delegation timeout errors addressed
Module: All
Audience: Managers
Change: To address system performance and timeout errors during the delegation process, the list of eligible delegates that managers can select from has been segmented based on your affiliation: campus or UCSF Health. If you need to add or manage delegates across campus and health, please open a support ticket for further assistance.
